Bio

Sophie Keplinger is a New York City based actor whose most notable roles in NYC include Rosannah in the two-handler play Brilliant Traces, the title role Lysistrata in the Greek play Lysistrata, and Dr. Van Helsing in a feminism-twisted take of the play Dracula.

After moving to NYC at the age of 20, Sophie began her Meisner-based training at The Actors Studio. Upon completing their summer program, she then applied to the two year full-time acting conservatory The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she starred in multiple plays and earned her Associate Degree in Acting in 2022.

Originally from Nebraska, Sophie brings a deep and particular sense of empathy to all of her roles. Her passion for people and all of their quirks lends itself to how she dives into a character, and she is thrilled to bring her passion and work ethic to each project she is apart of.
